ClearShield CSX5000 is highly elastic for truck curtain sides. The CSX5000 is formulated with added chemical resistance protecting the livery from dirt generated by everyday use, is chemical resistant, abrasion resistant and provides long term UV protection.  They can be used manually by brush, roller or good results can be achieved with a mop applicator – a common window washing mop head made of material like lamb’s wool fastened to a dowel rod. Typically, you want the applicator to be fully saturated.  Most customers simply pour the coating in puddles or lines on the material to be coated then use the applicator to spread the coating. Some slight thinning of the CSX5000 with water when using mops can help the Liquid Laminate to flow.

Prints protected with CSX5000 showed up to 30% less UV degradation than film laminate prints after 3 years of simulated exposure testing. Applying CSX5000 forms a barrier which is much easier to clean, thus maintaining the printed vehicle wrap.  ClearShield CSX5000 is available in gloss, semi-gloss, satin and matte finishes.
